the experience
a guide to what it feels like to be photographed here — the day, the care, and everything held within it.
a space to feel like yourself
this is a studio built for all women, femmes, and nonbinary folk — a place to feel safe, expressive, and at home in your body, exactly as it is.
my work is dark, cinematic, and quiet — bodies softened by shadow, light treated as the real subject. you don't need to know how to pose. you don't need to feel a certain way about yourself first. that part is my job. yours is simply to arrive.
everything you need to feel held
professional hair & makeup
not one look, not one aesthetic — whatever makes you feel like yourself. soft, bold, minimal, full glam, drag, or simply a gentle hour of having your face cared for while we chat. your artist is here to amplify what you already love, never to impose a vision. and if what shows up in camera reads a little differently than the mirror, that's okay — it's not something you'll ever notice in your images.
a full client closet
no shopping, no stress about what to wear. i keep outfits in every size and every style, so you're completely covered if you arrive with nothing. i still love when you bring one piece of your own — something simple, even from your everyday closet — so we can fold in a more casual, lifestyle feeling alongside the rest.
your time & presence
this isn't rushed. you're here for the whole arc of it — settling in, the shoot itself, and the unfolding afterward. the day belongs to you.
how the day unfolds
arrive & settle in
you come in at your start time and we ease into it together — no rush, just space to get comfortable in the room.
hair & makeup
about an hour to an hour and a half in the chair while we talk and you browse the closet, pulling the looks that call to you.
your shoot
time in front of the camera — moving, breathing, present. i guide every part of it. sometimes it stretches a little longer when the flow is right.
a first look at products
a relaxed look through albums, wall art, and prints, so you have a feel for what's possible. then you head home.
seeing yourself, slowly
within a few days, your full sneak peeks land in your inbox — the first glimpse of what we made together. then we set your reveal, usually virtual and about an hour long. for now everything is virtual while my studio is still being built.
the reveal is where it all comes together: we move through your images side by side, you choose your favourites, and we talk through products and collections until every detail is settled.

there's almost nothing to prepare. drink your water. eat something so the day feels good in your body. and please don't skip meals beforehand — it won't change a thing in your images, and i'd much rather you arrive feeling like yourself.
